This 2021 Land Rover Defender 90 tow bar was fitted at our premises in Horndean, near Havant, Hampshire. We fitted a Tow Trust towbar with a combined coupling and Right Connections 7 pin dedicated electrics.

 

To fit a tow bar on one of these incredible 4x4s is a considerable job; the tow bar weighs over 50kg by itself. With a fitting time of around 2.5 hours by our experienced workshop team, fitting a tow bar and wiring kit on this vehicle is not a quick install.

 

Using a vehicle specific wiring kit maintains the vehicle warranty as it connects to the vehicle through a towing plug.

 

The owner of this Defender will be using tow bar with a combined coupling for towing commerical trailers and plant machinery – it has a massive 3500kg towing capacity and 350kg 'nose weight' (vertical load).
