Phil Taylor Towbars Ltd is an
independent family based company
started in 1967 by Phil fitting towbars
to the few models of tow-car available
in the UK. It has now grown to be one
of the leading towbar fitting companies
in the south.

On the majority of installations we have
three technicians which enables us to
deal with modern vehicles (which are
becoming increasingly complex) more efficiently than a roadside installation. We also offer a collect and return service within the local area for anyone that finds it difficult to get to us.

We have a dedicated fitting bay where all work is carried out. This ensures your towbar is fitted to the highest standard. Many towbars require the rear bumper to be removed. With the advantage of a workshop we can ensure your vehicle is handled with the greatest care.

As distributors for Witter, Thule, PCT, Bosal and Westfalia we can help customers choose the most appropriate towbar for their particular requirements, giving special attention to issues such as bumper cuts, ground clearance, whether the vehicle has reversing sensors and last but not least appearance.

Phil has been involved in personally fitting some 60,000 towbars and is still actively involved in carrying out installations. It is this ongoing participation that enables Phil Taylor Towbars to provide a professional service combined with a breadth of experience second to none.
